Reza kicked off his campaign surrounded by neighbours and community members.
Reza and volunteers connecting with residents across Ward 20.
Hearing directly from neighbours about what matters most for Ward 20.
Mohammad Ali Reza has called Scarborough Southwest home for years, raising his family, supporting local causes, and getting to know the people and streets that make Ward 20 what it is. His path to public service wasn't planned around a title — it grew out of showing up, again and again, for the community around him.
Before entering this race, Reza spent years working closely with local organizations, small business owners, and neighbourhood groups — listening to what residents needed and helping connect people to practical solutions. That hands-on experience shaped a leadership style built on patience, follow-through, and respect for every voice at the table.
Reza believes good leadership starts with listening, stays accountable through action, and measures success by how it improves everyday life for residents — not by headlines.
"I'm running because too many residents feel unheard at City Hall. I've spent years listening to neighbours about the issues that matter most — safer streets, reliable services, and a community where families can put down roots. I want to bring that same commitment to City Council, and be a councillor who is accountable, accessible, and always working for Ward 20."
Ward 20 deserves a councillor who shows up, listens first, and brings real resident concerns to City Hall.
Safer streets and stronger neighbourhoods start with consistent, community-focused local leadership.
From road repairs to transit reliability, residents deserve city services that actually work.
A thriving local economy and accessible housing options give every family a real chance to get ahead.
Reza's vision for Ward 20 is a community where families can afford to stay, small businesses can grow, streets feel safe day and night, and every neighbourhood — from its main streets to its quiet corners — has a real voice at City Hall.
